Woodhill for years without charge or trial. Welcome to Britain’s Guantanamo Bay. • London Fashion Week Opening Party: By Eva Toure

If anyone finds themselves at the Mayfair hotel, can you please ask for my dignity? I left it in a queue to the London Fashion Week International Party. pants extra tight, brought out the empire line and double checked my RSVP print out.. This was after all fashion week and I wanted to get in.

Note to self, unless you are a celebrity or the direct friend of the friend, always arrive two hours early and sit it out. Classic (klăs'ĭk) n. : A work recognised as definitive in its field
Classic. A term nonchalantly banded around these days, for albums worth a second listen, if that. A sign of the digital age we live in, where the ethics of Hip-Hop have degenerated to a state of one-hit wonders, catchy hooks and mass brand appeal. Where superstars can be...

Journey back 13 years and Hip Hop was still a movement that was emerging into the masses, and the urban youth were finally given a voice in mainstream society. Some heads comment that this was the golden age of rap music, the rawness and spirit of something that was relatively new, original, shining through – the forgotten young generation who stuck two fingers up at the continuous dirge of monotonous rock and dance music which did not appeal to them – now they had something exciting that did: Hip Hop.

Two years ago, I decided to pack in the graduate job search to teach English abroad. It is a well paid opportunity to travel and live your day-to-day life in a another country. I had no formal teaching qualifications, but a degree from an English-speaking country is the only prerequisite to teaching in most Eastern countries. It was either Japan or Korea for me, completely...

My English-based agent gave me the hard sell on Korea and I was sold. I received the job offer just before Christmas 2005. I emailed my CV and had a brief telephone interview; I was given the job immediately.
